An old building at Old Fort York in Toronto. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s the site of one of the very few American victories during the war of 1812. In the Americans’ 5 day occupation of York (what is now Toronto) in April-May of 1813 they burnt down our Legislature. This provided the impetus for the later burning of the Whitehouse.
