Eagle feathers are a special gift.  This entire bustle as it’s called was made with tail feathers.  This man did a warrior’s dance.

The long strips of fabric represent prairie grass.  This man too was a very good dancer.

This is what I had for lunch… You might not be able to see it but there are chips (crisps) inside of the burger.  It was so good!  But I didn’t quite manage to finish it.

This is my favourite photographer.  He’s shooting me with the D300 and 24-70.  I shot him with the D3000 and 55-200.

This shot is queued, but I can tell you that at the moment, I’m riding a train home, at the end of a very nice day visiting him <3

This is one of the towers in the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario.  One of my loveliest friends is in a med science program there, and she gave us a tour over the weekend.

The city and campus are so beautiful (if somewhat less diverse than the city I’m used to) that I’m seriously thinking about looking into the university’s graduate studies.  I was accepted for undergrad there in poli sci, but living away from home for this year was a bit too expensive.

Okay, I just have to post one more shot before I go to bed!

Look Out

This is the view from the look out level at the world’s second tallest free standing structure, the CN tower.  I brought S here for his birthday last week.

I need to use a slightly narrower aperture with a slightly slower shutter speed to get things more crisp.

I definitely failed at a photo a day.  I’ll make up for it tonight, but here’s one my boyfriend and I took together in March.  It took a few attempts to get the timing right, but I love it.

Today is my first day actually working with the youth at my summer job.  I’m definitely nervous because it will be such a different group than who I’m used to working with.  On the other hand though, I think I have some really cool experiences that will get them excited and I’m sure that once I’m teaching I’ll be in my element.
