Over the last few months my personal and academic life has been beyond overwhelming, leaving very little time for photography or the processing of the few photos that I have taken.
However, yesterday I took a glorious walk downtown and hopefully will have a chance to process the photos soon.
If you’ve stuck with my blog this far, thank you.
Much love,
Miranda

So there has obviously been a distinct lack of photos on my blog the last little while. Last weekend I was running some training for my cadets, and we took them up north to train them in some survival skills and sleep in tents outside. And now school is pretty nuts. Howeverrrr I’m going to a concert/show thing tonight, so hopefully I’ll have time to process them soon!
Take care...

It’s NOT that you are lazy …
onlinecounsellingcollege:
Often we describe ourselves as being lazy when, really, we are struggling with something that`s much deeper. For example, it will often be a mask, or a cover, for:
1. Tiredness – Feeling tired of all your various responsibilities – everything you have to do and, everyone you have to please.
2. Feeling Overwhelmed – Being so loaded down that you don’t know where to start....

Revisiting...
Hi all,
Over the next few days you will see photos taken as long ago as 2010. At the moment, I’m quite occupied with the usual, plus some sports photography. While I don’t have the time or energy to get new photos edited right now (especially since tumblr isn’t the audience for hockey photos) I do want to share some of my favourite photos from the last few years.
Enjoy, and...

Van City
(And the surrounding area…)
The conference went well. A lot of people were impressed with my presentation, the people I met were all absolutely amazing, I was elected Ontario rep for the organization and overall the whole thing was so informative and so fun.
I did end up taking a lot of photos, but I am still slightly jet lagged (Monday I was hallucinating in class, Tuesday was a mess and...

I’m currently sitting in an airport waiting for my flight to Vancouver. It’s just a quick trip, and most of my time will be spent at a conference (where I’m presenting a paper, eeeee!) so I probably won’t have much time to post the photos I’ve taken in the last few days or even shoot as much as I’d like, but I promise I’ll have at least one good photo to...
